Focke Wulf 190

DeHavilland DH88 Comet

Stuart Mackay Models are pleased to bring you this 1/4 scale rendition of Kurt Tank's infamous "Wurger" or "Butcher Bird", probably Germany's most famous and effective fighter of WW2. We have used our experience to develop a practical model with show-stopping aerobatic prowess and low-speed handling. The outstanding feature of the model must surely be the fully moulded silver epoxy glass construction of the main airframe components, these feature all the panels and rivets of the original, even the fabric covering of the control surfaces are faithfully replicated!!!. The sizeable canopy comes with an epoxy moulded frame and slides to allow access to the scale cockpit interior. The wing and tail are plug in to make transport very easy, the wing panels have mountings for our scale pneumatic retract system, and the tail-wheel semi-retracts as per the full-size. Assembly is limited to fitting your choice of our 90 cc Boxer or Radial, installing your avionics and finishing the aircraft in any one of the hundreds of colourful prototype schemes
